It has been a while since I've last opened this blogger account. I'm sorry for not answering to any comments made. My 4th year life as a Thomasian Accountant student life has been very busy. Accounting has been taking much of my free time. Today is the start of my official sembreak. (YEY!)
As we all know, studying can be very frustrating. This is why I often visit massage centers after examination week. I am very fond of massage center as this serves as my holy grail of relaxation. I often visit with my boyfriend. We have tried different massage centers and so far the most relaxing and worth it would be the Mbay Spa Center.
Today what I'm going to review about is my experience from Nailandia Makati (Their massage & manicure/ pedicure).

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON NAILANDIA MAKATI!
I bought a voucher from Metrodeal at P199 for 60 minutes massage and a choice of manicure/pedicure. Since I always stick with my boyfriend, I bought one for him as well. Nailandia Makati is located near Cash n Carry Mall Buendia. It's not that difficult to find it.
As per the voucher stated, we called 1 week in advance to reserve a booking since most of our preferred dates were fully booked, Alas' we have made a booking Dec. 18, 2015 (Friday) at 4:00 pm-5:00 pm massage time. I was actually hesitant at the time because I will attend UST Paskuhan at 7:00. Considering the rush hour from Makati to UST. But still, we accepted it since it's the last booking available for the year (as the lady on the phone said).
We came at exactly 4:00 pm. We were welcomed gracefully and was asked to sit as we are on waiting (There's still one customer, though she's almost done on her pedicure and one customer on the massage lounge having a leg wax). I let this one go even if we had such reservations. I mean what's the point of reservations if we are still waiting. We waited 15 minutes for them to finish and prep up. The first part is manicure/pedicure. I chose manicure & my boyfriend chose pedicure. I did not like the way they cut my nails. Yes I said it should be in a square cut but not as in a "square" literally. That's what the manicurist made. She cuts the tip on a square base as if my nails are going to break, it hurts :'( . And also, they don't remove the dead skin or maybe just a few cut here and there and viola, they're done! As for my boyfriend, he got a wound cut from his manicurist. The lady should have asked if my boyfriend would prefer cutting the sides (cuticles) of his nails as most men don't prefer that. And that's it, she went all the way until my boyfriend has to shout "ARAY!" and that's where I informed her that my boyfriend doesn't want cuticle cuts. The lady did not even said her sorry, manners please.
During the process of manicure pedicure, they have been talking about getting their order from Big guy's Pizza. My manicurist asked me if I was in a hurry, and I said "YES" because I am going to attend Paskuhan. Then they talked that they would just get their order later on since we are in a hurry.
After the mani/pedi, guess what? They just left us there! They went outside, got their pizza and ate! Yes ate! EVEN AFTER MY HEED THAT I AM IN HURRY! My boyfriend got pissed and sent me a message "Wag na tayo mag tip! Nakakaasar sila" and I am on the same mood. We were doing nothing for 30 freaking minutes. It's almost 5:00pm and we haven't started with the massage part yet.
Around 5:00pm they are done eating. (I HOPE YOU GUYS HAD YOUR FILL!) We were escorted in the massage room. There we changed on separate rooms. My room was very "unhygienic". The towels looks as if they were used. As we are done undressing, the massage therapist came in.
I am looking at my phone. She started 5:02 pm.
The massage therapist started with my legs. I had a feeling that she was in a hurry since she was done with both of my legs in less that 5 minutes and then my hands, elbow was the same. It hurts rather than relaxing. When she push through my skin and muscles on a rapid motion it hurts! She finished the massage in less than 30 minutes front and back! She finished at exactly 5:27 pm. That's just 25 minutes! My boyfriend was even worst. He said his was done at 20 minutes! The voucher stated 60 minutes massage, where is it then? And to a more disappointing one, it wasn't a good massage. It only gave us a huge stress!
I HATE THIS NAILANDIA MAKATI !!! On top of that, the massage therapist were even waiting outside for us to give them tip. Are they even on their right mind? As we are exiting and they got a hint they will not get any tip they didn't even opened the door for us since it was locked from the inside. My boyfriend has to remove a long lock inside. Such a waste of MONEY!
Would I recommend??? DEFINITELY NO!!!!! Not even one service was worth paying for! Don't put up false advertisements of 60 minutes massage when you're only going to make up less than 30 minutes!!! If I could put up a 100% negative rating on them I would! They just hoard you your money and give you a crap of service!
